The Introduction of the book, How to Be Secular by Richard Berlinerblau is impressive. He reintroduces theories on secularism that includea moderate religion and a clear line between religion and state. The thesis seems to be leading to a higher call for freedom. Quoting Locke: "Man has a natural right to freedom of conscience." Today we are so held to others notions of how to be and live. It would be beautiful to have a secular world that acknowledges God/religion but doesn't mandate religion or a way of life in the system of government. The position of moderation is exceedingly refreshing to consider.
